"What if there are children in the world who will suffer somehow because I failed to obey God? What if my cowardice costs even one child somewhere in the world his or her life?" Richard Stearns.

"For I AM CONVINCED that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)
"Faith is not a belief that everything will turn out to please us; rather it is the confidence that no matter how things turn out, God will somehow use the events in our days for His glory and for our good."
Dawn, I always think of you and pray for your adoption situation every time I pray for our own adoption. I almost feel guilty that our stalled India adoption (almost two years in process) has finally moved and we are in court. We are hoping to travel to get our six year old son in March or April.
I knew you would be happy for us, but it breaks my heart for all those kids who are still waiting - caught up in red-tape and governments who seem to care less about them. And further, all those kids languishing in orphanages and no one is working for them to bring them home. Sometimes the pain in this world can be overwhelming!
I just want you to know that I will continue to pray for you and your children. I pray that the Lord would protect their hearts and comfort them.
Isaiah 58:7, “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wander shelter, when you see the naked to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”

"Tribulation is never a noble thing; but let tribulation be what it may - exhausting, galling, fatiguing, it is not able to separate us from the love of God. Never let cares or tribulations separate you from the fact that God loves you".
2 Thoughts From My Readers:
God is not going to let go of you or your kids. He is good, especially in the valley, when we can't see Him. He is holding you close.
Praying for you, Dawn.
Love,
Julie
